Hi, Single Strokers!
Back in 1964, a female vocal group called "The Shangri-La's" recorded a song about a girl who loved a biker who was the leader of a motorcycle gang. It ended in tragedy, because the girl's parents wouldn't let her see the guy, and he killed himself on the road. At the end of each verse, after the Shangri-La's sang "Leader of the Pack", there was a recording of a motorcycle engine being revved up, which to me sounded like a single.
There was very little exhaust noise, only close-up mechanical engine sounds, as though the mike was right next to the engine. I was wondering if this is what a Savage sounds like with a stock muffler. I've never heard an LS650 running before! Are any of you familiar with this song?
